The Fishing VesselThe fishing vessel Seafarer II is a 50 foot, (15 m) commercial charter and fishing vessel operating in Kaikoura. It has a fully enclosed cabin as well as outside coverings to ensure passenger comfort and safety. Originally built in Australia for Commercial fishing, it was then converted and used as a Whale Watching boat. After sailing to New Zealand in 2007 it returned to fishing. It was then purchased by Seamist fishing as it was perfectly suited to provide space and comfort for passengers while being a practical fishing boat. The deck is spacious and comfortably fishes up to 15 people at any time.
